If they were the rules, we would have declared long before we met last saturday...................somewhere around July 09 methinks.

| Fair enough, we would have kept that weekend, as we beat Saints away.

| sounds pretty bad, tho' a good night was had by me & mrs sanjunien in Narbonne 'aprés trafic jams' !
reminds me of a happier Cats v Quins match last year with the now infamous Bosc super try being one of those 'where were you when..' moments - this was the same evening of the Perpignan v Clermont french 2009 cup final where the match was shown live on the big screen in the main square in Perpignan (Castillet) -Perpignan won of course and the celebrations which followed were unforgettable

| yes, sorry CMR ,you're right of course - the celebrations WERE after the Leeds game when we snatched it in the corner in the dying seconds if I recall
I'm sure the Bosc wonder try was against the Quins tho'
the brain (what's left of it) has become a bit addled i'm afraid - many apologies

| yeh,cracking try,all the same !
as a matter of interest how many quins fans made the trip this year ? cos' last year it seems only about 20 or 30 made the effort - we were quite close to them behind the posts and I can't recall seeing many in the stands either

Wasn't last year the time that Sky shifted it to the Sunday for TV, much to the chagrin of many travelling supporters?

| Paddock Punter - think I recognise the shoes....
Good to meet you, and hope you had a good trip back.
Sanjunien, missed you at the game. Hope all is well and that you enjoyed the sausages - chocs went down a treat.
As far as the rugby is concerned, least said, soonest mended. Casty, Mounis, Ferriol comme d'hab. Sa had his best game in terms of effort of the season. Hmmm. M Guasch not in the best of humours afterwards.

i'm afraid the traffic beat us on saturday
can imagine M.Guasch was fuming, problem is i'm already dreading next season
looking forward to TO13 on saturday - Mrs sanjunien has prepared some goodies for the lads for the post-match festivities
by the way timtum, the B & B at Montauban was brill and the KFC was real gourmet stuff...
yes John D,the quins match was changed to a sunday at short notice - do you share my pessimism for 2011 ?

| Mrs Timtum is in town, so I'm afraid I'll miss you for the Halifax and Huddersfield games.
will try and pop my head around the door on my way back up to blighty in early September.
Not sure how either club is going to do a big turn around given the rumours that are abounding (or indeed confirmed) about recruitment. Would love to see Larroyer and Tisseyre given a chance at les Dragons. Mayans sat in the tribunes at Toulouse the other week who surely could have done better at centre for TO. Seb Planas is a lovely lad, but until he gets some coaching / confidence he is a too obvious target down the left hand side.
For the Dragons, a return to the etrangers corrects, profs, is long overdue. Does noone in French rugby think of picking up the phone and making enquiries about individuals who are key appointments to the game over here?
Apologies for stating the obvious, and back into hibernation....

Not overly hopeful at this stage, but it's a long winter and I'll probably start to cheer up when the internationals have finished.
