Finally home and I've got time to translate it now.
[iThe Catalan affairs department of Perpignan city council, formerly the Font Nova Institute of Perpignan, have awarded the prestigious 2011 Joan Blanca prize to 'two personalities long committed to the defence and representation of Catalan culture and heritage and loyalty to the city of Perpignan'.
This year the two winners are Jean-Paul Alduy, former senator and mayor of Perpignan and Bernard Guasch, president of rugby league club Catalan Dragons and the president of a company specialising in meat and Catalan cooked meats.
The presentation will take place on Friday 20th January at 6 o'clock in the afternoon in the Aragon room in Perpignan town hall. There the two winners will each receive their awards after speeches by local dignatries.[/i
