Cracking game, one of the best I've seen in France. Absolutely perfect weather conditions. Pia dominated the first half but didn't really get the points to show for it. At 17-6 up in the second half, they really should have gone on to win it. FCL only really came into the match for the last 20, but once they'd nosed ahead, Pia went to pieces. Tribillac coming on was the game changer for me - not sure why he wasn't on from the start. About 5000 there I'd say - seemingly about 4000 from Lézignan, 50 (being generous) from Pia and the rest neutrals. Quite an atmosphere in spite of that - flags, fireworks etc. Seemingly zero publicity/media coverage (albeit I was staying up near Albi) beforehand.

Half-heartedly shopping for a holiday house - trouble is you get twice as much house for your money in Limousin or Charente than in the RL playing areas down south.

Even more o/t, huge thumbs-up for Cap Decourvete - my kids reckoned it's the best place they've visited in the entire world.
