the week catalan are due to play in england bird flies home to australia..but will be back in time for the next catalan home game....
i'm guessing he'll be injured for the trips to leeds & quins too in the coming weeks  |

The 25-year-old, who on Thursday flew in from France where he is playing for the Catalans rugby league team, had his one common assault charge upgraded to five charges but believes the evidence of three security guards and security video will clear him.
"Three security officers are able not only to give evidence, but to give evidence to the effect that he was the victim in this matter," his solicitor Patrick Conaghan told the court.

I do feel sorry for Bird, especially if he reads this forum! I think it is unfair to pre-judge him guilty, but that does not change the fact that we don't need/want him in the squad - hope he is found not-guilty and goes to Bradford.
