I was gonna catch the Wigan Vs Mancunians game on my way to Salford but have been told Wigan have called it off as they cant raise a side, is this true?

doubt thats true wigan have about 3 sides there is no way they will be short of a side.

With 6 lads promoted for tomorrows Ken Gee cup semi-final and cry offs to work commitments and beer-soaked barbeques taking their toll, this could have been a tough game for Ashton 2nds but the squad really pulled together and came away with a well earned victory. Little Hulton played their part with some spirited and determined defence and a well taken try but in the end Ashton always had the edge.

However, the game ended on a sour note when it was abandoned on 60 mins due to a serious head injury to an Ashton player, everyone from both clubs wishes him a speedy recovery.

Cowies mate we are only throwing 4/5 lads in that played in nwc div3 last season we are just using this comp as pre season and help a few 18s progress into the open age side but up to your men to get the summer league sorted would love to play your men again as they are top games. Even maybe a pre season friendly in middle of august or something would be good.
