| I think the British Summer has contributed to it being quiet on here, we have only played on 2 of the last 6 Saturdays so with the amount of games being called off it is always going to drop off a bit.
No disrespect to any other teams on here, but Thursday is the biggest game of the season so far in Division 2, we are unbeaten and Farnworth unbeaten since the opening day, I think it is going to be a cracker.
HFH - we also had a very good session last night, about 28 turned up and the coach was able to pick his team at training with no cry offs from training.
Let's hope the rain stays off and we get a dryish pitch to see some good rugby.

| HFH 30 - Bold 14.
HFH were definitely the better team for the full 80, their kicking game and goal line defence especially impressive.
I don't know what went wrong with us, maybe lads were a bit complacent after some big wins, but we didn't perform how we have so far for most of the season. We went back to some of our old ways of playing panic rugby when we were behind, even in the first half.
We have played 3 games in 7 weeks with aggregate score of 160-12, HFH have been playing more consistently, maybe this had them more prepared for a tough game.
These are just ideas off the top of my head, not excuses, as I said all credit to HFH definitely the best team on the night.
Too many mistakes and penalties all in all from us, cannot blame the ref, but his policing of the ruck and HFH offside was shocking.
You can't win em all so it's how we react to this that will really show where our season goes

| Had to call our game off v Latchford, HFH will tell u the state it was in last week, and after yesterday its totally unplayable.
Gotta be honest gettin totally pi$$ed of with this season, whether it the weather, shortage if players.
Heady days of turning up with a full squad smashin teams in icey January seem an all too distant memory.
Well done HFH gettin the job done again....thats what puts trophies in the cabinet.

| Hey all
Just wanted to give leyland a bit of credit for last weekend
They turned up with a bare 13 where a few teams would have settled for 24 0
Good luck for the rest of the season hopefully you will get a few players back and available soon
Also should be s good game coming up this sat with Leigh miners visiting with both teams needing the win to keep in touch with Halton and bold
We played in Warrington alliance cup tonight and blooded 6 of our under 17's so hopefully a good turn out on sat for an important game

| NEW PLAYERS WANTED
Leyland Warriors are looking to recruit more players at Open Age level. As some of our results show from earlier this season, we have some quality lads on board but just need more numbers.
Long story short, due to a combination of several players travelling on gap years, emigrating, working weekends, long term injuries and so on, we are struggling for numbers. Very frustrating, especially given as all of our junior teams are flourishing in the change of season.
If you are without a club, or looking for a change of scenery, PM me for more details.

| Lets have your thoughts on this weekends fixtures.
Latchford Albion vs. Rochdale Mayfield - Latchford too strong at home.
Halton Farnworth Hornets vs. Leigh Miners Rangers - HFH for me
Ince Rose Bridge vs. Bold Miners - Hopefully IRB will have enough at home for BM
Leyland Warriors vs. Haresfinch - Haresfinch, Leyland seem to have gone off the boil recently and Finch are a decent side.
Chorley Panthers vs. Oldham St Annes - CP, progressed massively since the start of the season.
Wigan St Judes vs. Wigan Spring View - Judes poor discipline cost them last week so SV for me as they will be too organised for Judes.

| Another top performance today even missing 8 first team players.
Completely dominated LMR from start to finish to win 46-6

| IRB 6 - Bold Miners 32
Good result, but we were sloppy at times in attack and really bombed 4/5 tries, defence was very strong as Ince threw everything at us in the second half.
Surprised with the HFH-Miners score, not the result, bit did expect it to be closer.
