Crosfields vs Wigan Bulldogs
Newton Storm vs Eccleston Lions
Rylands Sharks A vs Wigan St Cuthbert's A
St Helens Wild Boars vs Widnes Tigers
Westhoughton Lions vs Chorley Panthers

All away wins except for St Helens, but then it depends on the Wigan and Sts teams fielding full teams

| Newton v Eccleston went ahead, match played in good spirits but newtons defence was poor, few players missing attending GF early but no excuse for the result. best team weve played in my opinion and have the fastest centre ive seen for many a year. Newton can only get better!!!!

If we put on the pitch what we do in training we will be fine. Hope Ecclestons centre is ok, i dont know what happened when he was tackling me but someone mentioned a slipped disk? Hope its nothing serious mate.

Did you have a full team or had some lads gone to the grand final?

I don't mind losing as long as we play well but compared to the weeks before we were diabolical. Execution was terrible, completion was terrible, handling was terrible and why oh why certain lads kept insisting on trying offloads on tackle 1 and 2 I don't know. We have an effective game plan that's done us well so far but none of the lads followed it.
We paid a heavy price as well with 1 pulling out in the warm-up and 4 injured on the bench by about 60 minutes and no subs, and I'm not sure how many of those will be fit this week.
Not to take anything away from you fellas, you kept the big lads rolling forward and combined with a couple of very good runners you've got, ground out your win. We didn't deserve it.

| We've been there ourselves so know what your team is going through but thought you was better then last season and just thought you tired after going uphill in the first half.

| Do Wigan Bulldogs still play on that pitch by the DW sports centre near the stadium?
NWC has it as "Scot Lane, Stadium Way, WN5 0UN", while LeagueRepublic has it as "William Foster Playing Fields, Ince, Wigan".
Any ideas?
