west bank 36-16 wirral score line reflects the result wirral played well we played well in 2nd half after band 20 mins in 1st half when we took control wirral never looked like scoring but were always willing to play which is a credit to them. they are easily the 2nd best in this division but unfortunatly were struggling for numbers. not heard the wigan and lymm score but i think we play the winner next week apparently at eccles and salford.

Congrats West Bank on reaching the final, Wirral are a strong side, your result is the exact scoreline when we beat them 3 weeks ago, so it sets up a nice final!

I'll second that. Given that the RFL didn't even produce a trophy for the winners of the NW Merit League last year, it's probably down to it being cheap.

just out of interest, why is it the RFLs responsibility to provide a trophy?

Because the RFL is the governing body of the summer conference maybe???
