Another good win for us yesterday. Gifted the 2 Mayfield tries but was happy with the result.

Got a possible midweek fixture which we've only just found out about as no one from SV has been in touch to ask are we ok.

We hammered Judes who were a completely different side to when we played them early in the season, one of their coaching staff said the 1sts had took 8 of their better players from previous weeks.

It was still a good team performance from us though and the winning run continues.

2 big away games coming for us on the bounce now, Latchford then HFH.

We informed the league as per instruction before the season started that we required next weekend as a free week as it is one of the lads stag dos....the NWML website reflects that this was a midweek fixture and has done for a while.

It is the leagues responsibility to communicate this to you mate.

Home team Secretary has to make contact with the opposing team before the game, I had to ring yours to find out as David Lowe wasn't sure if it was a typo or not.

not at all pal, in the last 2 games we have lost 3 lads....groin tear, broken collar bone & broken leg....that on top of the other long termers.

Good performance from our lads and pushed all the way by SV.

Dire conditions and even worse referee but happy with the 2 points.

Great game I thought considering the condition , as cowise said we were missing a few tonight but played prob better than we have of late, hfh are prob IMO the best side we've played I think another 5 mins maybe we could have snatched it, to many turnovers at the start of the second half that made the diff, but hfh played clever rugby forcing us to play off are own line which made it hard for us in the end , we'll done to both sides!

Obviously dissappointed with the result but having played in the game v Chorley on a massive high to see the lads back up with a top dig against a very well drilled side. If that had been 2 months ago we would have been turning 13/14 men out as we did v Bold & Latchford.

Good to see that with abit more depth we are able to turn a side out inspite of knocks that can compete with the best in the league.

It's gone a little quiet on here! how did the games at the weekend go?
We had a local derby win against the panthers 32-20. We played poorly in the first half 16-10 down. But stepped up a little in the 2nd. Still lots to work on though ahead of the game against St Judes!

Very quiet.

We have our home fixture againstr Bold moved to this Thursday.

Can't wait. Lads trained really well tonight. Hope they take it into the game.
