I respect anyone's opinion, however its difficult to accept your's when its clearly based on a very limited knowledge of what is going on at allot of clubs that are thriving throughout NWC and NCL

Looks like business is about to pick up in D2. Widnes St Maries 1st team have resigned from NCL Div 1 (they were top) and now all players are eligible for their 2nd team. Looks like West Bank may not go unbeaten after all!

And 'Shimmy' why don't you get your own Div 6 thread, like cjl pointed out on Trust In Widnes, you don't play for the 1sts!!!

Hahahaha sting in the tail is that what your worried about us going the season in the league unbeaten. Aslong as we finish top that all that's matters and least we know your lot (hfh) wont get promoted then coz woolston and Dalton and maries will all finish above you

Why would I be worried about you finishing unbeaten? It would be a hell of an achievement. We have probably left ourselves too much to do now (having lost 5) but if we can finish in the top half it will be an improvement on last year and we have some quality kids waiting to step up next season to catapult us on.

Dan I'm afraid you are mistaken, St Maries have resigned.

FWIW I think Div 2 will finish...

1. West Bank
2. St Maries
3. Woolston
4/5/6 will be HFH, Dalton and Askam.

Adlington will tail off in the 2nd half of the season.

until all ncl 1st teams are entered then i personally feel the county cups are second fiddle. all teams entered may want to win it but a lot cant due to unavailability of ncl based players. its a 2nd rate cup comp.

Further to my e-mail regarding St Maries, the club has still not resigned from the National Conference League. None of the details which I gave – and which have to be ratified by the NWCL committee – can be implemented until the club sends official notification to the NCL.
