Saturday being an exception when we were rubbish, we havent played that bad away. We lost to spring view by 6 (a hard place to go for any side) on the first day of the season and woolston to a last minute try 16-11. The other game we lost was to ulverston which was a local game.

Yes, he broke his arm, we got a few injurys on saturday. The referees are just as bad for us, it just always seems worse when your getting beat, we had a few moans on saturday at west bank, he just could not keep up with play.

to be fair no-one likes the refs when there gettin beat and i dont think the ref was to bad saturday it was a very tough game to ref and all the big calls i thought he got right.

Hindpool 4 -28 West Bank

Could talk all day about the ref as he wasnt the greatest. West Bank were just bigger faster fitter you name it they were better than us at it. Was disappointing that some lads dropped out this morning but thats the way it is when your in our position. Hope I can manage to get out of work next week, another drubbing is better than an afternoon with a pregnant and extremely hormonal girlfriend any day.

Just heard that Dalton beat Haresfinch 22-18

Ulverston beat Spring View 30-22 and Woolston beat Heysham 38-86 so im told

For the second week running Woolston gave away a healthy lead and won in the last minute. I think Heysham scored three tries in about five minutes in the second half.



Talk about grinding out the wins. It's not pretty, but two points is two points whether it's pretty or not!

we were extremely poor today stop start game ref never let either team get into it( he was dreadful) big win for woolston hard place to win is heysham. hindpool at home next week lets see if they turn up i dont think they will.

Proud of our boys again yesterday, big effort with bare bones again, 3 under 18's lads on the bench, lads limpin all over the shop.

Why do they have to keep messing about with fixtures. Tell you one thing then change it again. They have forgot that we have this thing called 'a life' outside of rugby. Fixture on Easter Saturday and then none for two weeks. And they wonder why people lose interest.

Just heard that we have had to call our game off against West Bank tomorrow. Very disappointing for us as we havent had to resort to this in the 4 years we been in NWC. We struggled to get 17 at home last weekend and 3 of us were unavailable this week due to work and another lad broke his hand but we were expecting 3 lads to return so I will be interested to hear peoples reasons/excuses.

Woolston v Heysham will be a decent game today, especially if the Heysham travel with there strongest side, I can see an upset on the cards. Look out for 13! By far there most dangerous player!
