| Everytime Crosfields play at home there are comments about a poop house, running round back to throw punchesn late knees and stuff like that. If they tried to play rugby they would probaly win alot more games rather than using Poop house tactics.
Good soild game against brook and speaking to a few of them after the game about comments made on here but obviously no one admitted to saying them and no-one knew who it was apperently .
Anyway got newton this weekend so hopefully we can finish the season with a win and look forward to a few good cup runs!!

Rylands to have to much for chorley , going for a draw for Tigers v Lions with it being a verry narrow pitch its hard to play out wide and both teams have big packs so it will be close. Bury have been hit and miss for a while no team then winning away at newton which isnt easy then losing to Crofields but i think Cuthberts will have to much for them. Think Bulldogs will also have to much for Westhoughton. Hopefully we will win our last game of the season away at Newton should be a good game always is when we play each other. Also with the cup game coming up will be good to go into the game with a win.

we are conceding at weekend....and before we get stick, we have said that we couldnt play this date from the start of the season and numerous times on this thread. Cronus is getting married and I think it fair that such an event is honoured by the team (and he manages the team) turning up we asked for a free weekend, and asked again, and I asked again, but the answer was no free weekends this season.
as it happens, the team that went to Crosfields was stronger than the one that went to Newton and definately stronger than the team that beat Westhoughton and possibly the one that beat Bolton comfortably. At Crosfields we took the lead and then conceded 4 tries in 4 consecutive sets to be 20 - 6 down after about 10/12 minutes. Over the rest of the rest of the match the aggregate was 10 - 20 in our favour. Take the bad 6/7 minutes out of the equation and it was pretty consistent with our recent form. We have Tigers away after that and will end with home games against Crosfields and Eccleston (although we dont know which way round). We will not have played at home since January!

| How selfish is that eh?! obviously needs to get his priotrities sorted a wedding before NWC divison 5 rugby your joking right???
On a other note im sure when we played Wigan Bulldogs at home they told us they had a free weekend the week later because they was going Millenium Magic so i said how you manage that cause i thought there was no free weekends and they said they let the league know weeks previous, i dont know if they was ment to play Bolton that weekend but im sure they never had a fixture that week??? Strange

i've had other sides say that they were allowed free weekends for 'rugby reasons' but I know Westhoughton conceded the weekend of Millenium Magic because JP (involved in running them) had his stag doo at Millenium Magic while we had lots of lads at the stag doo for Cronus (for which i asked for a free well in advance also). we definately asked at start of year, and I tried again in January when it looked like the fixture list wasnt backlogged as badly as in previous years.

Believe it or not I arranged it as late as I could before the cost of the venue started to go up in April - even arranged it out of season by 3 weeks!! But the ridiculous 'no free weekends' rule is apparently inflexible even out of season. Apologies to Cuthbert's. But if it helps I'm planning a helluva party!!
Anyway...
Chorley Panthers v Rylands Sharks A - though this could be close, Chorley have improved and are tough at home.
Newton Storm v St Helens Wild Boars - a tasty rehearsal for the Bowl tie!
Widnes Tigers v Eccleston Lions - could be a tight game, going for the home side.
Wigan St Cuthbert’s A v Bury Broncos
Wigan Bulldogs v Westhoughton Lions - Wigan have been much improved since New Year.
