haha milly am sure u would be exactly the same if you were in our shoes. in a way its a good thing we have a week off a few lads including myself picked up some knocks saturday so should be o.k for week after now. we have six games left which would take us to middle of april which is earlier finish than last year as some teams were still playin league fixtures end of april.

hope dalton win on saturday but woolston will go up there and wreck daltons season to much class for them. referees have a big say though

I think your wrong West Bank, I fancy Dalton to turn Woolston over if they travel with a similar side to that which came to Hindpool. Im guessing your still a little upset by the referee you had at Dalton, just hope that it dosent cost you in the end because I was there that day and it was a pretty shocking day. Im sure if you go on to win the league you will laugh about it because from a neutrals point of view it was pretty hillarious.

These are my own opinions and should in no way be affiliated to my club...but my 4 year old could have done a better job than half the officials we've had this season...IT NEEDS ADDRESSING, we are not a league for apprentice 17-18 old referee wannabe's, it's ruining our game and making players disallusioned.

And how do you do that cowies? the refs arent great but obviously the better ones ref higher leagues which is what happens in all sports. Don't knock them till you've tried it yourself.

i personally feel we were screwed up dalton because of the quality of the referee (the drop goal that never was shawy you were there you would of seen it) but thats a long time ago and not been beat since that game

. as for dalton having to much for woolston am not so sure but you never no, woolston will go up there with there strongest squad and play rugby like they can and having played dalton ot will be too good for them. and as you said if we go on to win the league then yeah we will probably laugh but if we dont that has cost us dearly and it should not be the way.
in my opinion the best referee we had was the ref that done us against SV away he had a good game.

Ive heard Woolston will be severly understrength for tomorrow so Dalton will have a great chance



On the subject of refs, the best ref I have witnessed this year was when we played Ulverston away. Youngish lad and cumbrian!!!!! But he was very very good and reffed the game as he saw, no bias at all.

Westbank, that drop goal that should not not have been did'nt win the game, the score was 26-24. The ref was crap that day but it was for both sides, yous got away with a lot IMO.

Im sure whatever side woolston bring it will be a tight game.

Like I said personal opinions.

And I have no doubt that I would be a god awful referee that's why I don't do it....others should follow my example



The point I am making is that I have seen on too many occasions this season, referee's frightened of making the big calls in games....and being bullied by mouthy players & touchlines, aswell as going on touchline/player reaction to make calls.

Again....just my take on it
