...but in answer to your questions (thanks mmp), KO is 2.30, we'll be there from 1ish, players arriving from 1.15.
Bring the kids (and your lovely Mrs) anyway mate, looaads of room on the field for them to play and entertainment always guaranteed!!  |

Bury Broncos 38 - 22 Newton Storm
Good game, Bury started slow and let Newton in early, but then went away with a few tries to lead at half time. Newton never said die but I felt we were dominant and never really in danger of losing despite a 15 minute spell of stupid mistakes and some dodgy defence which Newton took advantage of. Gradually we pulled away and saw the game out. A few tasty hits and a little niggle (and a certain Newton centre tripping!! ), but all in good spirit.
Thought Newton did well considering their problems with numbers, they should go alright this year if they can keep the squad together.
Now to celebrate!!  |

When I watched Wild Boars against my team(Hindley)last year they did ok, the score may seem a little excessive but they are a much stronger team Westhoughton (no disrepect) |

Good game lads, we were a little disappointed with a couple of sloppy tries we let in, but fair play to you lads you played well and all in good spirit. With regards to the "tripping",  its a legal tackle mate, not one penalty was given for it, its not nice being on the receiving end though i know, as it does feel like a trip, but it isnt Iv been sent off once for it where i got it wrong Vs Hindley, but apart from that never been penalised once in 10+ years.
Good luck for the rest of the season lads.
