Don't really remember much to be honest pal. People keep asking me what the punch was like and to be honest I didn't see it, buy what a cracking punch it was, hit me sweet on the jaw and as you say the next thing I was down like Gillian McKeith!!

Credit where credit is due though pal, considering you played 55/60 mins with 12 men and still pulled out a win speaks volumes for your team and your spirit, irrespective of whether you had a couple of 2nd teamers in you Still ground out a win and you couldn't tell who werent the 1st teamers.

Not sure if you noticed but we actually played with 15 men, I think we did very very well considering, we were let down big time by lads yesterday and a big credit to the lads that pulled a shirt on against top of the league because I have to admit I was worried we might have been on the wrong side of a hammering again, but we played with sprit and I was only convinced youd win when you scored that final try, and you boys celebrated like you'd won the cup, and that for me was a better feeling knowing that irrespective of the teams we've pushed the league leaders all the way for 75 mins.

As usual your 6/9 and you 1 were awesome along with your 13 who like yourself ran all day.

Burtonwood V Ulverston is ON, pitch is actually ok, drainage has worked well on the pitch itself but i expect it to be a bit of a Mud bath to be honest.

Good numbers at training and some hard decisions for the coach this week reference the team to play and some decent players will miss out, which is a good problem to have. Hopefully we'll pick up the 2 points as we really could do with it, but i know we'll have to play well to beat Ulverston.
