| Quote west bank="west bank"well we have a better head to head with woolston this season having lost up there 20-10 they lost to us 22-10. and woolston havent travelled to SV or dalton 2 tough places to get points and we were unlucky against dalton and we were a different class to SV, i dont no how many times in the last few seasons how many SV have lost at there place but my recent knowledge they have never been nilled. have a look at the stats we have the best defence in the league.'"
correct west bank! we all spoke about it after the game, thats the first time we've been nilled at home, hopefully the last.
As i said before WB defence was top notch saturday as were there attack and IMO are the favourites for the league, but as we've seen many times woolston are allways there at the top grinding out the wins, i just think WB are the inform team at the moment , all makes for an exciting finnish don't you think! WOO HOO...

| we might of scrapped a win at hindpool, they never really got in are half, they might of had alot of ball but we held firm, with 4 new players to the team we did ok. we still sit at the top of the league. we tend to play are best rugby against the better sides. you guys are right it is a tough league this year. but lets see who's top at the end of the year.. sign of a good side, when were not at are best we can still grind out the win....

| well said mezzer. totally agree. woolston will be there or there about at the end as will west bank but everyone seems to be writing off dalton but dont forget they are well in with a shout. it a great league to be in and its going to be a grat race to the end.

| I think the difference with Dalton is that they have only won 1 away in the league this season, we beat em at our place, woolston beat em, and so did Ulverston. But in the same breath haven't been beaten at home. So for them to maintain there spot they need to pick some wins up on there travels, and they have still got to play WB & MB.
Woolston got to go to Heysham, Dalton & SV, and I think have got to play MB again.
Of WB's remaining, I think obviously Dalton & Moss Bank are the toughest....can't see them coming unstuck.
Moss Bank 3 tough away games, WB, SV & Ulverston.
We have got to play Ulverston & Saddleworth twice, Woolston & MB both at our place....and still haven't dropped on Heysham yet!
A few twists and turns yet me thinks.
Yours in Rugby.....Statto.

| I dont see how West Bank are favs albeit they are obviously on form at the moment? Woolston are 2 points clear at the top, with the points in the bag.
Its been a tough season this year for Woolston on and off the pitch with a new coach due to me stepping down and quite a few players not playing/unavailable for various reasons (off the top of my head that includes 2 ex-pros, a winger with an average of more than a try per game, a centre with a record of a try per game, 3 starting back rowers, etc). Add to that quite a lot of new faces in the squad and I think its fantastic we are still winning week in and week out. I think we have lost 1 game in the last 16 months.
I know the lads and when the chips are down, they come good. The West Bank defeat can be written off as they hadnt trained for 2-3 weeks prior (except for T & P).
One thing for sure, its going to be a great last few months of the season!

| to be honest clint we dont want to be favs for the league we just going about are rugby game by game and i think if we keep the pressure on woolston they will slip again. how comes you not woolston coach anymore when clearly you want to be. dalton i think wont travel that well and will slip up a few more times as will moss bank so i think the top 3 could possibly be west bank woolston and spring view (no more defeats for them). one thing we all agree on is that its a top league.

| When i said WB are favorites i did say IMO(in my opinion) obviously woolston are sat nice and bonny at the top of the league, but i think WB are a better team.
The only problem for WB is they don't get a say in the matter, they have already played woolston twice, so have to hope they slip up , so on paper you would say woolston are favorites(my apologies clint )

I know mate, nowt worse then when people say you should so this or that! I disagree that Woolston will slip again! We have had our 1 defeat for the season
I cant see Moss Bank going undefeated either, I think SV will lose once more...... when Woolston visit
I stepped down due to certain circumstances mate but I will support the club and the lads always, (after Saints anyway) as its been my club for the best part of 20 years and I have some fantastic memories, and tonnes of medals, from our years gone by!!

| i dont think woolston and spring view meet until the end of season. we have moss bank at our place then saddleworth at our place so a nice double header at home.
