well cowies they have to play us men twice aswell so things getting tougher. now saddleworth have started winning to (first teamers in aswell) the mighty hindpool might be the might of div 4

to be fair you should win because there first team have a game and there chasing promotion so shouldnt put first teamers in but you never no we went up there early in season and the made the mistake of puttin us on the first team pitch and with it being wide we killed them. they tend to favour there right side for attack and there forwards dont like it physical (well the ones that played against us)

. we play moss bank who are on a slip of form recently so will no doubt be tryin to win the game, what are they like this season are they the same as last season.

I didn't play at there place, was injured....but watched it.

They ran us all over the Park, with top quality RL. Some of the best flowing rugby I've seen since i've been down at SV. But there defence is well breachable. But! I saw them at Woolston about 3 weeks ago and it wasn't the same team, they were very lack lustre. I think it all depends on the side they have available.

There is no doubting that on there day with there best 17 availble they have the beating of most teams in our league....but based on yesterday I think you men will have more than enough to pick up the points.

Woolston are no where near good enough to win the league. They were extremely lucky at Hindpool, we gave them a 15 minute heastart and found ourselves 18-0 down and after that they werent in the game we were by far the better side. They were glad to hear the final whistle after spending the last 20 mins taking every opportunity to time waste.
Shouldnt complain to much as its an 80 minute game and we only got ourselves to blame for the slow start. From what I have seen of teams West Bank look to be the best up to now. Not sure we will go down as Blackbrook dropped out so there should only be 1 relegated and I fancy us to finish above Langworthy.

oh yeah shawy i forgot bout them. if you look at the fixtures i have noticed that blackbrook a have got a fixture against westhoughton from division 5. pretty crap if you ask me they can raise a team for friendly but drop out of the league after one game

woolston went with a weakened team and still turned hindpool over weve only been beat once how are we not the better team not played our best this year but still doin enough to win all our games but one

Looking forward to playing woolston (whenever it will be). If we beat them, the league could be wide open. Could end up decided on points difference this year.

well we have a better head to head with woolston this season having lost up there 20-10 they lost to us 22-10. and woolston havent travelled to SV or dalton 2 tough places to get points and we were unlucky against dalton and we were a different class to SV, i dont no how many times in the last few seasons how many SV have lost at there place but my recent knowledge they have never been nilled. have a look at the stats we have the best defence in the league.

correct west bank! we all spoke about it after the game, thats the first time we've been nilled at home, hopefully the last.
As i said before WB defence was top notch saturday as were there attack and IMO are the favourites for the league, but as we've seen many times woolston are allways there at the top grinding out the wins, i just think WB are the inform team at the moment , all makes for an exciting finnish don't you think! WOO HOO...

we might of scrapped a win at hindpool, they never really got in are half, they might of had alot of ball but we held firm, with 4 new players to the team we did ok. we still sit at the top of the league. we tend to play are best rugby against the better sides. you guys are right it is a tough league this year. but lets see who's top at the end of the year.. sign of a good side, when were not at are best we can still grind out the win....

well said mezzer. totally agree. woolston will be there or there about at the end as will west bank but everyone seems to be writing off dalton but dont forget they are well in with a shout. it a great league to be in and its going to be a grat race to the end.
