| Sorry brigarmy but the lad playing 12 spent the whole game either leading in with the point of his elbow or coming in 3rd man with his forearm/elbow. Anybody can smash someone like that. He got his backside handed back to him at Hindpool for the same thing and should have walked there for use of his knees. If he sorts his technique out (obviously a strong aggresive player) then he would go well. Unfortunatley I thought he was a liability for you yesterday and was the cause of a load of piggy backs up the field for us.
Generally the game looked very tough and I think our defence and determination shocked you. I dont think you expected the game to be as tough as it was having given us a pretty good hiding at your place. The ref made a few bad calls but trust me, we did our homework at the Hindpool game and it was our game plan, not poor refereeing, that won us the game in the 2nd half. Some strange decisions (we had at least 1 perfectly good try disallowed) but we knew that if we toughed it out you would become ill disciplined.
Finally thank the big lad who mouthed off after his 2nd half try...It spurred our lads on nicely
Glad you all got home safely and good luck for your remaining games. See you in Div 2 next year

| i cnt agree with you our numver 12 never takes a backword step i dnt know how you can say he got his backside handed to him yes he gets hit but thats rugby league he is a constant mence to any defence, your defence was tough but nothing we havnt seen before, you cnt say the ref didnt have a hand in the game your 1st try was of a tap that ref didnt blow for thats why all our lads stopped,1 try your lad lost ball and said we ripped it out but same thing happen to us in the 1st half but you got the ball your number 10 went high all game, yes we got fustrated but you cnt blame us as the ref didnt give us anthing in the 2nd half,we got held up at least 5 times yes great defence by you guys and you will see it from your side and we will see it from our side but speaking to some of your fans after even they where confused, but like i see well done to your lads and will look forward to seeing you again soon but i will say this, the league has been shocking apart from hindpool ulverston heysham who wanted to play ever game the rest have been a joke ulverston hindpool and heysham all had around 6,7,8 or 24 nils not there fault,i am just fustrated as we played no where near our strenghts

Ulverston cannot be caught in the league and will rightly be crowned NWML Division 3 Champions 2012. A frustratiing season for most teams to say the least.
Well done fellas
Congratulations to Ulverston for winning the league from all at Bank Quay

| That surely can't be right 1 team going up if anything ulv, heysham, Bamber , and hindpool shud be put in a good league there is sides who are in higher divisions that all 4 teams would beat! Leagues need sorting out ASAP !

| I know from the original meetings from the start of NWML that it was said that there would only likely be 1 from each division going up.
Since the start of the season, from Prem & Div 1 Rylands & Golborne have gone back to Winter and Pilks, Hindley & Cuthberts have gone to the conference with Brook also rumoured to join them. 1 up from each division doesn't seem to add up so I would imagine some change in that especially when the NCL moves are definitely confirmed.

| Blackbrook and Woolston Rovers have made late applications to the NCL. There is also the possibility of the Barrow teams joining a Cumbrian League though this isn't confirmed. Most of the reserve teams were a shambles but it won't just be 1 up. Division 3 and 4 had the bulk of called off games but I think some sides (mainly reserve teams) called off in higher divisions. 3 teams called off 2 or 3 games in the premier division.

To be honest it wasnt to bad, we had 2 games conceded 1 by OSA, 1 by Rochdale, however we still played both teams in the reverse fixture.
We have struggled in the early parts of this year, which reflects on us finishing 5th to be honest, we travelled to bold with 13, and nearly came away with something, similarly at Latchford & Haresfinch away, went their with 14.
We conceded one game but in all fairness this was a fixture that was scheduled for a 6.30 Ko in early October at HFH....it was physically impossible for us to get a side to Widnes to Ko at that time.
All in all I think all the lads are happy with the season we have put together, and we have beaten most sides in the div barring HFH who we ran within a score of at our place. The run we have put together at the end of the year has been good to see....however when you have 18/19 lads turning up, its makes a difference.
To come off the back of the 2 massive years we have had winning NWC3 and then winning NWC2 I think this year was always going to be an anti climax, but its all credit to everyone involved at ours and every other club to back up from winter to summer, to train and to play now for over 12 months is nothing short of incredible.

| i think our div was the worst for 24 nils.ulvertson heysham and hindpool hardly played any home games as teams dnt want to travel that far,no if all of them are in the same league will they have the same problem again?? i heard at hindpool they had been approched to go in the cumbria league.
i hope the league look at it properly this year and get it right i mean what do teams think about all the a teams in 1 div?? overall i enjoyed the summer league

| The simple answer is to fine (heavily) those sides that do not turn up without good reason (not sure what can be deemed as a good reason). This will make teams think long and hard about applying for the league and will ensure only those that are serious do apply. 2 strikes and you are out with minimum notice to call a game off being the Monday prior to the fixture.
This will ensure a quality league with quality teams.....This is the RFL though so I doubt it will happen.

They've compromised and put most of the A teams in an all A team division 3 then spread the rest out between the other divisions.
