| Quote Farnworth Hornet="Farnworth Hornet"What was up with the ref Milly?
The last try was no try granted, but how many high shots did your lads get away with
Same for both sides, I'd say the better side won, but the score definetly flattered you, we made some bad decisions with ball in hand, but hey ho, all the best for your promotion charge
PS Where was Wez Lawton today
'"
You really think he was okay? You got away with a fair few indiscretions yourselves, he was poor and ruined what should have been a good game. It became all about him, rules were incidental and just ruined his fun.
Wez got what he wanted from us and returned to Bank Quay, so he was probably at Loushers Lane playing Ashton.

| Really pleased with our efforts yesterday, brilliant defence against a great side in HFH. League position doesn't do them justice they are definetely one of the best teams we've played this year and to concede only 10 (should have been 4 ) taking into account the amount of possession they had was a massive achievement.
I do agree with Milly tho, the ref made the game all about him, both teams just wanted to play rugby and he stopped that on numerous occasions. I think his lack of control also made the game boil over once or twice. All in all a good day at the office.

| The decision to only sin bin your lad for a blatant punch when our lad was on the floor was quite simply a disgrace. If the ref sees the punch, which he obviously did, how then can he only sin bin the lad? Is my understadning of the rules wrong here? If it is i apologise in advance.

| Even worse from the ref in the Woolston v Halton game was he wanted £35 for that display! Unbelieveable. We gave him £30 and a 50% off voucher for Specsavers. We have never been penalised like that before and the final try was, quite frankly, a bent call. Even the HFH players said it
On the game, well done to HFH. Played some really nice rugby and moved the ball nicely left and right, a very good and fit team. Had us stretched a few times in the 1st half and we had to scramble across well. Credit to our guys though for their defensive effort. HFH must have had 65% of the ball yet we only conceded the 1 try (discounting the awful last try the ref gave). Our match fitness is coming back slowly, our attack was scratchy at times but we have had 3 different sides out for our last 3 games so we will be rusty there. All in all, I was very happy.
Next week we have Ince away and their 1st team dont have a game so could be a potential banana skin

Punch? I must have missed that, he did drop on him(shoulder connected with his head), but he wasn't held, Middlemore deserved an oscar for that performance, well that along with his standing outside the changing rooms when it fooking freezing in just his boxers flexing his six pack, it was bordering on XXX rated. I nominate him for one of your legendary fines just for that

| It wasn't the shoulder pal, I was stood right in front of it and your 9 hit him square in the face with his forearm, bit naughty like. The performance after wouldn't have looked out of place in the premier league tho haha!! But like has been said, I think we got away with a few high shots, as did you. Enjoyed the game though, hope your lad who tried to headbut my knees is ok!
