| Bolton Mets v Widnes Tigers - Bolton been struggling to raise sides, though might be up for it at home.
Bury Broncos v Westhoughton Lions - we've a few back this week, not at full strength but slowly getting there.
Chorley Panthers v Rylands Sharks - if Rylands are on form they could run a few in, though Chorley can be a tough side.
Crosfields v St Helens Wild Boars - Wild Boars the form team; Crosfields will struggle if they don't concede.
Wigan Bulldogs v Eccleston Lions - tough one here, Lions on form should be a comfortable win, if not Bulldogs will run them close.
Wigan St Cuthberts v Newton Storm - Newton been improving but if Cuthberts have a strong side out they'll probably be a bit too much for them at home.
Of course, if it carries on pssing down half of these could be off...

| Will ring Cliff T today and ask him to give us a view on the pitch seeing he's based at the school. although as it stands, we've not got a referee allocated!!!

| What a great game St Cuthberts v Newton Storm was, St Cuthberts won a close game but Newton can stand proud! The toss pot Cuthberts number 14 who got sent off for flying 30 yards to hit fresh air made my day! what a fairy.
gutted i had to watch through injury but ill look forward to the home game in this fixture! not much between the teams to be fair. think they edged it through the wigan ref with his countless crap decisions.
sour grapes

| Bury 28, Westhoughton 6
Westhoughton came with just 13 lads while we finally had a few forwards back - they won it for us by punching plenty of holes in the line. oh, and there was a miracle...
Cronus finally scored.

| Bolton Mets 8 Widnes Tigers 20. Bit of a dis jointed tigers display having gone in at the break 16-0 in front we hardly touched the ball in the second half. Still the squad is now regular and we are choosing from over 20 lads each week so good to have competition for shirts.

Only taken me 3 years! Not only that, my first game of the season after injury and my first touch of the ball! Awesome.
Good performance, we've never had a problem shifting the ball around but the injury epidemic in the forwards has meant we've struggled over the last month. A big rap to Westhoughton for turning up with just 13, they never stopped going but were never in the game and only scored from a defensive cock-up. Only our own mistakes, rubbish goal kicking and getting a bit too carried away meant we didn't rack up a few more points.

Was a really good game, think it would have been closer if we could manage to catch near your try line. Some odd refereeing decisions for both teams

| Yeah you bombed a few. The referee was a right space cadet, I particularly enjoyed his 'an audience with' ten minute speech before the game to each squad!

Have to agree....went up to Cuthies to watch the game and was well impressed with the Newton performance, especially considering the players that were missing too.
Things do certainly look to be on the up for you guys. Awesome stuff.
