I never thought askam were like that in the 2 games we played against them they weren't dirty and didn't look like they were even like that.

speaking as a someone who part of the club. we not a dirty team. the referee didnt control the game and some of the lads felt that there were unsafe. that still doesnt condone what happened and the players involved aswell as the club will have to face the music now

The Latchford v Woolston game was a good local derby and we were very relieved to get the win. I was genuinely worried going into this game as we had a lot of players missing due to the MM weekend but the lads that came in did a good job. We were 12-0 up after 5 mins and then everything went downhill! Our loose forward was hit with a 3rd man in elbow that broke his cheekbone and he had to have a CT scan in hospital last night it was that bad - it wasnt even penalised though! That left me with 1 forward and 2 wingers on the bench for the remaining 75 mins which wasnt ideal and to make it worse we lost a prop on 50 mins!! but we pulled through despite being our own worst enemies with a ridiculous amount of silly errors. Credit to Latchford though, they knew they were in with a chance of turning us over this week and they played well. Another very tough game this week against HFH at home. Hopefully we should be nearer to full strength

Was it mellor who suffered the injury Clint. If it was he will be a big miss. All at west bank wish him a speedy recovery.

West bank vs adlington. West bank by 18 should win this game.
Wigan st pats vs ince. St pats by 22 they should bounce back with a good win.
Woolston vs farnworth. Woolston by 16 should win this a keep promotion alive.

I spoke to Cliff this morning and wound him up a bit based on having a long travel - but he said he's away with his wife this weekend...so you'll be having someone else.
