The reason we didnt travel was due to the amount of injuries we have at the moment. We played Haresfinch with 12 the week before and thought it better to forfeit the cup match rather than take a young inexperienced side to one of the leagues best sides and risk further injuries with probably the seasons toughest fixture the week after. Dalton and Ulverston also pulled out the cup so finances abviously have a say aswell. A run in a cup which we are very unlikely to win could prove extremely costly.
As for the "Mighty Hindpool" we are far from mighty and dpat obviously isnt who he claims to be as Paul Dean is from Warrington not Workington and as far as I am aware he hasnt played for Seaton or Workington but did play for Laporte and Crosfields before playing for Barrow Island and Barrow Raiders. He also got his age wrong aswell but at least he got you lot biting
