Yeah should be a top game....will be back to full strength....(I hope), always close games Cobras vs. Hindley, think only 5 points av separated us in the last two games…should be fun!!! you lads stopping for a few jars after?????

| Fooking joke mate, frozen pitch?? Of course it will be frozen, its 10am in the morning! Come lunchtime no sign of frost. I played Union instead, won 45-5, ON THE SAME PITCH. No issues watsoever on either pitch though. P*ssed me right off. Its rugby league, not ballet!  |

Crazy innit. Far too early to call it in mid-Feb, it doesn't start thawing until gone 11, and an hour or two of sun and it's fine. Every forecast I saw said sun and temps up to 4°C, easily enough to thaw any frost and play on. Maddening.
We (Bury) met up and played a game between ourselves, ground was fine, no frost, nothing.

Seriously mate, i couldnt believe it. Rowey played Union aswell, both couldnt believe that theyd cancel it. Common sense tells you at 10am the frost will still be there, but 20 mins of sun on it and we'd have been fine. Both pitches were fine at 12, nevermind 2pm. Proper Gutted.
