Newton were well under par this week.

The result was not a reflection of how we have been playing this season.

The game is 7:30 kick off at st judes', we have a good few out due to work and uni, so should be a good game. hope westhoughton lions see this n play. if not it will be a 4 week gap with no game for us!!! div 6 all over again!!!!

We are the same we've played one up rugby up to now due to the influx of new players, luckly they are good players and that as got us by, but it showed at waterhead and wont do against hindley!!!!!

No Mate Eccy Lions. Went down just before the Westhoughton game, then played against Blackburn last week as well.

We hardly finished our sets and coughed up alot of possession in the early tackles which allowed Bolton to attack from deep in our own half. Our scrambling defence was poor too.

Bolton aren't the most flashiest side but do the basics very, very well. As well as their discipline and smart play, they fully deserved their win.

What was the score? Typical fair weather fan, didn't go cos it was raining.

Cobras won 4-42 was a awfull game, we (cobras) played with 3 hookers as our half backs were out and lost our best player in 1st 10 mins, Westhoughton never gave up, the ref was poo!!!!!

Hi mate, if you lost your best player in first 10 who was the No14 Aussie or NZ lad I would imagine he's used to playing at a higher level than NWC Div 5

14 - Yeah he is a good un, he is called Netani Suka, Fiji born but grew up in oz, played for Gateshead thunder in their promotion season. Played reserve grade NRL in oz and played for Fiji too, we were lucky he needed a place to sleep we needed a good captain we worked a deal. Played for us last year. Our full back Ad is the lad we lost to a broken hand; he is our best player almost as fast as me!!!!!!!!!
