I'd have to say Blackbrook after playing both teams in fairly tough encounters.
We managed a draw against Widnes West bank when we should of won 22-6 up with 20 minutes to go so I'd have to say I fancy Blackbrook.

| I think these two matchs should be crackers, I dont think anyone will be able to call them and think it will be down to who will have the strongest squad on the day, dont know when they are on but I think a lot can change in a few weeks(plyers promoted to the 1st or back to the 2nds).

| Culcheth Eagles 10 - 18 Ashton Bears A.
After taking an early lead Culcheth hit back to lead 10-4 at half time. A strong second half display especially in defence against a big ste Ashton clawed they're way back intot he game and eventually went into the lead. Finishing strongly they scored again to close out a very hard fought game. Credit to both sides as the conditions and some erratic decisions tested the physical and mental stamina of both sides.

| Fitton Hill Bulldogs 6 - 38 Ashton Bears A.
A minutes silence and a minutes appluase was held before the game for one of Fittons lads who passed away recently.
On a quagmire of a pitch it was Ashton who took an early lead after a period of pressure and only a succseeion of dropped ball in the very slippery conditons prevented them extebnding their half time lead. To their credit Fitton Hill kept plugging away and were rewarded with a score. Ashton dominated possession and field position and eventually Hills defence gave way with the Bears going on to score more tries as the half went on. At the end of the game it was impossible to distinguish which side was which due to the mud as Ashton came away with the points.
It was an emotional day for Fitton Hill and everyone at Ashton extends their condolonces to the Bulldogs for their sad loss.

Couple of things here, 1. Yes we have folded the 2nd team for the rest of this season due to how hard it is to get 2 teams out on the field this year, altho last year we (The 2nds) fulfilled every fixture. 2. What the hell does that second sentence say??, its just jibberish, and 3. What the friggin hell has it got to do with you anyway.
So far you have questioned one of the Widnes Town Team Coaches credentials and now your questioning whether a team is folding.....who are you Ron Girvin, do us a favour and wind your neck in
