| Quote Dime_Bar="Dime_Bar"Well Chorley had a full side saturday and never seemed to pick up any injuries. Even spoke to a lad on there sideline who said they had a few missing so cant see why they wouldnt be able to raise a side.
But they gave us the game twice last year so i wouldnt be to hopeful lol!'"
Chorley should be fine - they're bringing a few of their U-18s through as well so numbers shouldn't be a problem. A better side then last year I thought as well.
More concerned about Crosfields - they've conceded 2 on the bounce now...anyone know if they're having issues?

Im pleased that Gaz is playing, looking forward to seeing him in action this weekend!
Looks like things have really turned around now at Newton. From what Ive been told, the lads have knuckled down, are working hard in training and the first win isnt far away.

| Crosfields are really struggling. Spoke to one of my mates who plays for them and he said that they cant get a team of 13 and nobody bothers training. It isnt looking good for them.

| when a team throws a game why is the score 18-0? it should be 50-0 or some other score above 18-0 surely? whats the penalty for throwing games? doesnt seem enough punishment to me unless im missing something.

| If a team throws 3 matches with no viable excuses they get demoted, and the 18-0 is a fair score to be honest.
Bring on Chorley!

According to the [url=http://www.nwcoaarl.org.uk/NWCARL site[/url, there are some fixed fines (Premier & Div 1/2 - £30; Div 3/4 - £20; Other divs - £15), plus £20 if failing to notify the results officer, and clubs can claim for expenses such as refreshment, strapping, etc, and up to £50 travel costs if the away team has already travelled. After conceding a few clubs also face relegation:
Quote monkeytowner="NWC Rules"Any teams failing to fulfil a fixture in the premier division, more than one fixture in divisions one and two, or more than two in any other division, will be automatically relegated irrespective of League placing unless that team was due for promotion, in which case it will remain in the same division the following season. The next highest placed team will be promoted.'"

| Round 7, 16th Oct:
Bury Broncos vs Wigan St Cuthbert's A
Eccleston Lions vs Widnes Tigers
Newton Storm vs Chorley Panthers
Rylands Sharks A vs Crosfields
St Helens Wild Boars vs Bolton Mets
Westhoughton Lions vs Wigan Bulldogs
I'm going for all home wins this weekend. I think Bury will give Cutherts a good game, and the rest should be too strong at home. I'm backing Newton for their first win if they can contain Chorley's big men, Eccleston should be too strong for Widnes, Westhoughton had a big win last week and should beat Bulldogs if they can carry on that form. Will Crosfields show??

If they can't travel that short distance to play, then i guess they'll not complete another fixture...

Think Cuthberts will have enough to beat bury even though they have seemed to improved alot since last season. Eccleston should win, same for newton and rylands. Hopefully we can carry on our run and beat Bolton at home. Not sure about the last one but gone for wigan.

| Gotta agree with Dime bar on the results, I dont normally go against Bolton but after the last 2 games against WB's think it will be a home win.
