Love the fact Cobras turned down a trip to watch some of our players in a cup final at Twickenham last Saturday so we could play Crewe...hold on...ah that's right they didn't turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crewe and Mancunians should both be put in merit league and let two teams come up, plenty of good enough teams that could/would do it!!!!!

We are coming up to the 3rd weekend of the season, currently in the Premier division, Liverpool & Mancunians havent played a game. I am assured though that both teams will be playing this weekend.

I think any team that defaults more than once should take a step down from the higher divisions.

Well BooBoo8 you have indeed predicted the correct score for the Chorley - Crewe match. They cant raise a team again.

liverpool will suddenly have a team once the nwc league season finishes, another side that relies heavily on nwc winter based players.

Didnt NWC season finish a couple of weeks ago

some teams still had town cups to play for, you watch liverpool will start fulfilling fixtures now.

Good game, our discipline was probably the deciding factor - pretty shocking throughout.

Crewe conceded at home to Blackpool - that's three games now so doesn't look good. Wonder if it's worth asking one of the Merit teams to step up and take their place?

Interesting result at Rochdale - assume they have roped a few Mayfield lads in?

More like Fijians and Sales Sharks players. I've never seen so many Fijians in one place (having never been to Fiji!), and we had 4-5 turn out against us as well. Talk after the game was a few lads from Sale also turned out for the 1sts?? Anyway they were running them in for fun against Cadishead, who I think fielded lots of youngsters.

We were starting to dominate our 2nds game and one came over in a 1sts kit, he changed tops and came on against us. Did lots of dancing around with the ball, lots of cheap shots before he took a big tackle and went off hurt.

One fijian started against you lads...manua...he plays like 4th team RU, doesnt play league norm....other one seta tala is also a cobras player...he just turned up late, was never in 1sts sat...just put wrong top in changing rooms!!, ahmed (ziggy) and anton grant clearly aint fijians, i dont go looking for fijians....there is just LOADS living in rochdale.....as for the 1 (yes 1 out of contract) RU player if he turned up at your training would u send him away??? he trained, he payed his subs...he played!!!!!! Its worth mentioning that when cobras started up it was with the backing of the Rochdale Fijian association whom we have an affiliation to and also their logo on our club crest! we forever get called due to having 'Loads' of fijians yet we only norm have 1 or two playing....two black lads who norm play in 1sts are not Fijian! we played 5 fijains against you at the end of the 09-10 season, one of em beaing T!!

as for the 88-6. its was not the usual cadishead team...but we were not to know that!!!! its normally close between us....everything seemed to go our way on sat, bounce of the ball...the ref...lads playing well in front of new coach...i heard stitched up a lot on sat??? we went down to Chester week b4 and got our behinds handed to us by lads who looked like they play at a much higher level....but we didn't say anything as we were prob wrong (as in this case)...u can only play whats in front of you!

also worth mentioning the fastest lad on the pitch was Adam Butterworth who scored 7 tries which were all set up by Ryan Tetley......very Fijian!

Thought Adam had gone to Hornets? Quality player.

As for the rest, don't get the wrong idea, I'm not knocking you guys or your selections at all; I know about Rochdale's ties with Fiji and I met Big T a few times up close! If we could get similar players we'd snap them up...as long as they trained of course.

Always enjoy playing against you guys and your Fijians - even if your 1sts have always been a bit too much to handle - they're a challenge for us soft white boys!! And the food at your gaff is always good.
