Judging by the first few fixtures, this league is going to be interesting.

hornets played osj won 38 28 but whata hard game,we were again somethings missing from last year,osj played the better rugby,they signed 7 players on before game but they are a good team.we were flat,and its not enjoyable now ,its boring

Good win for our lads against a big Haresfinch side.

We have seen the transition of most of our u18s come through to the open age team which is really exciting for the club.

Only downside was a broken cheekbone to one of our props and the Haresfinch no7 behaving disgracefully in a seperate incident.

Shame really as the rest of the team are a good set of lads, best of luck for the rest of the season.

Managed to get to watch Irlam v Orrell on saturday after missing the last few games, and it was a good close game.
The scoreline flatters Irlam a bit as it was a lot closer than it suggests.
From last year Orrell have a lot of new faces and some good players they will defo shock a few teams this year if they manage to keep hold of there squad.
Irlam's fitness probably won them the game in the end after they were behind 0-8 within the first 15 mins but came back to get in front and win the game.
I agree something has changed at irlam but at times saw flashes of the team last year, they just seem to want to score everytime they have the ball rather than just accepting the tackle!!
But well done orrell who were a good clean physical side and i hope they can keep going !!

seems like it was a good win for us after hearing they had a few pro,s playing,they were a good team.ulverston on sat ,day out on a coach lads will be ed shame i don,t drink a lot.we will have to play alot better,get our defence sorted,and start sharper.looks likes it will be a tight league this year.
