Heysham 22-12 Hindpool

Poor 1st half from us, got drawn into Heyshams game and tried to meet themup the middle. Very even 2nd half which we shaded 12-10. Referee was shocking, stopped the game at every opportunity and mostly for no reason. This benefitted Heysham as the big forwards got a rest but not complaining, we didnt deserve to win after a shocking 1st half.
What a difference a week makes. Well done Ulverston and Langworthy

Can't take anything away from ulverston they played well yesterday and got the 2 points, with 1.30mins on the clock u can't turn the ball over from your own scrum in your own twenty and expect to win...errors cost us.
were virtually a new side front last year, with lads moving on and retiring so we have been able to give some good young players there chance this year, every week we are turning 4/5 18/19 year old lads out which bodes well for the future. We were something like 6 players down yesterday with injury and lads working, having to bring a lad out of retirement and lads turning out injured tells its own story really, can't wait to get a full squad fit and playing but that is not an excuse for the last two weeks, hindpool and ulverston can only play what's in front of them and a credit to them doin the job after a long coach ride down, thats never easy. Well done.

Judging by the first few fixtures, this league is going to be interesting.

hornets played osj won 38 28 but whata hard game,we were again somethings missing from last year,osj played the better rugby,they signed 7 players on before game but they are a good team.we were flat,and its not enjoyable now ,its boring
