Bonjour my nwc 3 friend!!, it seems to be a little volatile on here of late, I though I would just drop in mid season and give grace you with my nuggets of wisdom. A few salford and oldham fellows on here running there mouths of late, a pity they haven't been able to back it up, obviously irlam have apart from against springview. I saw irlam at springview and the were very evenly matched. However I think springview seem to have muxh more quality at 6,7 and 9 than irlam! in my opinion irlam have a couple of quality centres and a prop who has a good set of hands from what I've seen. Springview however have quality all over the park, they have a full back who can score at will, a quality half back combination, in particular tangoman, and the best pack in the league, springs loose forward is a machine in all fairness. Springviews front row on and off the bench is as good as I've seen in nwc1,2 and 3 and would give conference sides in wigan a run for there money. Ulverston have some excellent back rowers, hindpool look young and spirited! You don't know what pilks team your gettin from one week to the next to judge them, and heysham are simply a big awkward set, however struggle away from what I've heard! The team for you guys to be watching is leyland as I tolf u all before the dark horses in this league, and I think the game on saturday is too close to call especially following disruptions...springs will need to be at full strength at at there very best, leyland play smart and are deceptively fast, should be a cracker!

As sil said, we travelled up with only 15 players but it didn't stop it from being a great game, was right in the balance till the last minute but hindpool just snatched it....neither side could say they were the better team, it was one of those games where both teams matched each other all game....we led 12-0 in first 20 but hindpool hit back in final 20 of first half to go in at 18-12 up at ht....we scored first in 2nd half to make it 18-18 before they scored again to make it 22-18, we then had a man sent off with 30 to go but hit back again with 2 tries in 5 minutes to take the lead 28-22 with 10 to play, hindpool then levelled at 28-28 with 6 to play before they grabbed the winning try with 4 minutes left....was probably the best game i've played in this season but was a shame the ref was a bit too happy to get his cards out

i think its fair comment that Langworthy are the most improved side in the league tbh!
