Couple of slightly surprising results there . Didn't expect Heysham to get the result at Langworthy and a good result for Burtonwood , thats local derbys for you . Hindpools result shows that the're gonna be really tough to turn over at home , even more so when the colder weather and early kick offs arrive in a couple of weeks

Spring to strong for us on sat in the first half we picked up in the second but the first half reall killed us very good side good set a lads as well having a bit of banter all game

Was a tough clean game I thought...we started well and that built too much of a platform.

Some good pressure made us put 24 tackles on our own line before your 2nd try so we had to do the ugly stuff aswell. Fair play to your guys though, a tough big awkward side. Good Performances from your 9, 12 and the big prop with the goatee (wore glasses). Ran it well and hard all day that fella, and took some big shots and kept coming back.

Good thing is at SV at the minute is that all the lads can see room for improvement and our first words after the game in the changing rooms was that we know we can play Better. Could do with you guys doing a number on irlam next week. Looking at weekend results I was shocked, just goes to show the standard and competative nature of this league again this year. Was shocked to see heysham going to lang and getting something, having said that I thought heysham were the most physical side we faced last year. And hindpool at hopme are capable of beating anyone in the league in my opinion...think leyland will have had the shock of the lives up there on saturday, just glad we got that one out of the way...burtonwood even picked points up at weekend!

Looking foward to golborne away on saturday, they have fulfilled there last 2 games so I'm hopeful it will go ahead.

fancy are chances against irlam at home we just need to convert the presure we build in to points. do results against goldboure count ???

Parksides results as far as I know are counted . They are still being shown as second bottom in the league on the North West Counties official website ( nwcoaarl.org.uk ) so you would think that everything stands . Personally I think it's unfair on the teams who have only been given 18 - 0 results for the four games they have thrown . I do think it means automatic relegation though unless they have a miraculous turnaround and finish in a promotion position . If that was to happen they stay in the division . They also get a £20 fine for each unfulfilled fixture
