irlam hornets 18-12 langworthy reds
Great game ruined by the referee, glad to be involved, langworthy are thinking of taking the next step and recordng our matches to send to the referreeing board, the ref made bad descions both ways and this game had everything first half finshed 6-6, irlam come out fast after a dropped ball off kick off made it 12-6, langworthy were camped in irlam half for a gd 10 mins before irlam scored a long ranger! langworthy continued to dominate got one more score but couldnt get over the line which seems to be an on going problem! (sorry forgot to mention irlam were on top first half with langworthy not touching the ball first 20 mins)

I have to say Langworthy have come on leaps and bounds since we played them in the valentines cup earlier on, for me it will be a battle between us, sv and langworthy, i also thought the referee had a poor game and fair play langreds..6 saying he was bad towards both teams, well done langworthy and looking forward to our fixture at your place, as long as its salford teams doing well it doenst bother me.

oh dear langyreds*6 please tell me your not blaming the refs again(its getting abit boring now) looks like it was a good game tho keep going and you may just suprise afew teams this year.

I thought Irlam may have out a few more on old Langoworthy at weekend. Fair play to the reds of langworthy though they are running the big sides close.

Another excellent win for Leyland....definately dark horses.

The outstanding result would appear springs making the trip to ulverston and taking there unbeaten home. record from them.
Higginshaw had a big win v St Judes...would be very interested to see what sort of side they took to Higginshaw, would imagine that they would have been young lads and higginshaw can be an intimidating place to go.
Hindpool had great win at Pilks, didnt see that one coming my cumbrian chums.

if they were young lads i would like to see there what they feed them on. judes scored in first 5 mins and thought they were gonna run riot on us. we took everything they had even the bully boy late hits third man cheap shot crap they started.dont get me wrong they were a good side but we out played them out thought them and sure as hell took no s**t off them. plus i know from playing judes first team they had a few boarder line lads in.

Higginshaw's not an easy place to go to, especially to hike to the pitch beforehand - if you go in December hire a Sherpa. Good team on their own patch. That and i got my car broken into outside their club a couple of years back - no blame on the club just bloody annoying having to drive back to Warrington minus a window in November!

we have all the numptys round are way !!!!!!!!!! but to be honest we have started a junior section so all the badens are now starting to play at the club and there older family are leaving the club and cars alone now (touch wood)we have not had any reports of thieft for a while. we are trying to build sport in to the community and as of the moment we are not far away.

Thought after last year that Higginshaw would cause a few upsets this year . It's never an easy place to go especially in the depths of winter . Seem to remember them running a few of the better sides close the year before last as well when we were in division 4 with them . As for Leyland if memory serves they were a good young side in our previous encounters and have always improved year on year . They seem to run out of steam towards the end of the season and in heavier weather , be interesting to see if they can stay the distance this time
