Quote: mad_as_toast "Disappointed with some of our (East) defence on Saturday. We let in some really soft tries. That could be down to the fact that we're still finding our feet again after not playing since Feb and with some of our players graduating to the 1st and 2nd team squads, we're back in a "getting to know you" phase with some of our newer players. But fair play to West Bank - they are a well drilled side who kept on coming. The score could have been a lot closer if not for a couple of good tackles from WB to hold up over the line on two occasions and a penalty try.
As for Blackbrook, when they are at home, they are a different animal all together (especially when their 1st team are away in Barrow!) and that pitch is an absolute monster.'"
i think east where lucky to score and where never really in the game we (WBB) have started well as have 1st both with 3 wins from 3 but think tomorrow will be tough our 2nds are missing a few through u18's service area and 1st have a few missing so will take some from 2nds.
Cant see simmies 2nds raising a side again tomorrow either as there 1st are really struggling at the min with injuries and bans
