Quote: Cronus "Would think so - out of about 8 injured I reckon at least 5 will be back, and a few others should be available. We hate conceding, so I'll say now we'll be there!
We had a really couple of weeks before Xmas with a good amount of quality players, but since after Xmas alot of them have had work commitments, injuries and random winter holidays. We've had a couple of lads come down over the past few weeks which has halped too. Luckily we haven't had to forfit a game yet down to be unable to raise a team.
It can be so fustrating. I've come to Newton this year from the higher divisions and it's great to play in if you can keep the numbers.
Tough one this week for us (Westhoughton), only had 13 to start with due to injuries/work commitments/coaching course (same as most teams at the moment) then down to 12 after 15 mins after an injury. We kept plugging away though against a very good and vastly improved Bulldogs side. Fun, enjoyable match and we had a good laugh with the Wigan lads.
