The real world??? Heard all the hot air from Wakey before about it's stadium plans - turns out that some potakabins were the sum total of their ground improvements.
When I see the superstructure going up, I'll accept it. For now we have the usual spin. At least this time they've got some nice drawings to hand out to the gullible!

and as for the next round of licences, I've just had my ears blasted off by the bloke who told me, so I'm adding no more for now - other than - We'll see won't we!

Totally agree on this one Starbug. I have lots of mates who are wakey fans and once upon a time coached a few of what became their academy team at one time. I have no angst with Wakey as a club and/or the vast majority of their supporters. This one enjoys seeing his words on the forum and enjoys the kick-back he gets. I wasn't aware he'd been trolling other clubs boards too. Ah well, attention seeking disorders can be treated successfully nowadays!!



I don't really want to see any club excluded from Sl, and as you know my position viz:- P+R, it would be hypocritcal of me to advocate for that very proposition. Fairness and equality is all I ask on that subject.

I find from tone of your posts I think that you won't really be pleased for us at all. One way you saw your club getting in SL is for us to fail to deliver on our ground. That probably will not happen now and your just in denial at the moment, as time goes on reality will settle in.

I hope the new stadium is built just like the one we are hoping to build at Featherstone and one day all the 3 local teams are in S/L playing at the highest level. It is obvious that Widnes WILL be inS/L next time round and Halifax are knocking on the door so someone has to go or maybe 2 teams if the RFL have the balls to do it if its not you then who ?

to get into SL in 2 years time , we are nowhere near ready , and to get stuck at the bottom of SL getting hammered every week would see the end of the club , for us to get into SL we need to be as strong fan wise as at least Widnes but nearer Cas when they were in NL 1 , wakey along with most other SL clubs are losing hundreds of thousands if not millions per season , you can keep it for the moment

However for you to suggest that Barrow are more ready than Widnes just because they put together a good squad last season tells me all i need to know about your non SL club knowledge , I dont think Fev are or will be ready for a long time either

You suggest Barrow because they won the GF last season , well if you want to change the RFL's policy on SL entry back to P and R every season , I dont think you will find many outside SL disagreeing with you , but somehow I dont think you will find many IN SL agreeing with you , why would that be , do you think ?

Wakey are on borrowed time , if they dont sort out the stadium they will be dropping out sooner or later , and believe me , once you're out , its a hell of a lot harder to get back in with franchising
