| Thank you Sky? RFL. Only two home games on a Sunday. Won't be going to any games this season. It has just about finished me with the game after 60 years of watching. I will have to make do with radio & Rovers TV. Absolutely gutted after being able to get to most home games last year.

Its not just Sky. Hudge has said that there will be more Thursday and Friday games at the request of TS so we have longer recovery time between games.

We might have had practically all Sunday home games last season but god was it boring

Sad as this sounds I am beginning to think I would be happier in the championship. But I suppose Sky would find away to mess it up for me. I stopped subscribing to them because they messed us about & cost me money by changing game dates at late notice. I am off back to local Rugby now I have had enough.

| I emailed Rovers about the fixtures and they reckon they asked for Sunday games, and that there just as disappointed as i am about the majority of midweek games.
Now im hearing that they asked for Thurs/Fri because TS wanted that.
Which is it lol.
Personally ill miss a lot of games due to working shifts so im not overly happy.

I got the same reply plus an address to Email the RFL which I will be doing, I think we will loose a few of the young families that were in the east stand on Sundays last season. We also had quiet good crowds especially as we were out of the top league. If Tim Sheens asked for it I think it is shooting ourselves in the foot? I know we would loose a few Sundays because of TV but to only get 2 is plain wrong,

For me this just proves once again that the numpties at RFL headquarters don't have the best interest of the fans at heart, not that they ever did have. Personally I don't believe the current lot at red hall are fit for purpose anyway and the game in general is suffering as a result.
Unfortunately for me, Thursday nights in particular but even one or two Friday night games will be almost impossible to attend due to travelling and work commitments, meaning it won't be really worth me or the wife buying a pass for the forthcoming season, something that I personally have done religiously every year with the exception of a couple of seasons since the late seventies /early eighties. So it looks like it will be a case of going to whichever games I can next season on a purchase on the day basis.
Looking at some posts on other sites it appears that the feeling among many fans of other clubs is the same, which is, the RFL are hopelessly out of touch with the bulk of rugby league fans in relation to their varying work commitments and other social circumstances, i.e. Crowds generally have been down when played on Thursday evenings and this will not change in my view. As a result I fear that the crowds and gate receipts in super league generally could be adversely effected next season, with season pass sales been especially so. This will in my view be across most if not all of the super league, especially if the standard of the super league games do not improve on last years, which in my opinion were disappointing overall.

| Well that's me hardly going next year. Work, and not driving (meaning have to get a b&b) means non Sunday games are pretty much a no-no for me, unless there in West Yorkshire.
Trouble is sky pay the money, they can pretty much do what they want. And the RFL will follow them like a willing puppy scared to lose the money.

| Another thing that really annoys me about this is, the RFL say that player welfare comes into consideration when making their decisions regarding the fixtures. If that's the case then we should scrap one of the two games over the Easter weekend, as that situation is far from been in the best interests of the players welfare. Plus, I notice our game on the Eater Monday is against Wigan which is just taking the pee bearing in mind that we will have just been in an 80 minute game against our nearest and dearest rivals two days prior, which despite the expected 2 easy points comments that will no doubt follow from the black and whites, are always extra intensely physical and usually leave the teams extra low on energy for the Easter Monday game.

| It's been announced that Rovers RD2 game away at Leeds will be played at Elland Road, NOT headingley.

When did this happen? I do wish they would stop moving games all over the place.

Last 72 hours. Leeds have moved our and the Cas game there, due to Headingley reconstruction and them expecting big crowds for both games.
