Shaun Lunt as captain for me with Bobby Blair as VC. Horne won't play and Clarkson will be on the bench more, so it will be interesting to see who Sheens picks.

It's hard to come up with anyone to compete with Lunt. Blair has the experience but is a quiet bloke, Lunt is a gob and that's what we need under the sticks if we go behind to verbally lash and encourage in equal measure.

VC is more open. I'll say Scruton as a dark horse candidate.

I am hoping for anther signing, I feel with the youth and developing players in the sqaud, we need an experienced fullback who can organise and calm things down

I think we have experience. Lunt, Tilse, Scruton, Blair, Horne, Cockayne will have lots of experience. Most are either not good enough, vocal enough or fit enough is another matter. Lunt is nailed on surely

I'll probably be shot down for this one but I'd like to see James greenwood given the job, enthusiastic tough, aggressive take the game by the scruff of the neck type in the jp kind of mould
That would allow Lunt Blair and new halves the chance to manage the games without added pressure of captaincy.

Tbf, that's not a bad shout. But this kid needs to grow into the player we all know he can be. It's at least three years to early for captaincy. Tilse would be my left field shout.

Just thinking along the lines this could take him to another level and challenge himself to even greater things, maybe early but as I said we don't need his talk per say just a let's get into them mentally and demand players to follow.
