Any baby news yet ?

He's been quiet today so fingers crossed.

I think Mrs. dum-dum is an elephant. Do they have a twenty four month gestation period?

Well I bet the poor woman feels like an elephant by now (Ohh making me cross my legs remembering when the baby bears down at this stage!)

Hopefully we will hear about little Jake or Eve's arrival very soon.

Ohhhhh....No dum dum today, hopefully he is wiping his wife's brow,


The weather if getting on my nerves now

Got a nice week planned though....Theatre Wednesday to see the Little Voice play, Rugby Friday (well not sure about the rugby but nice to have a couple of drinks with friends)...Then the most exciting of all the ape film on Saturday

Plus that is it with me and Voddy, I am not getting drunk on the stuff again, 2 flippin days I have felt pants now!

I got shouted at by mid-wives during the births of both my lads. First time around apparently i could have been doing more constructive things than sat in the corner of the delivery room eating sandwiches and reading the sunday papers. Second time i was getting a bit sick of mrs R.B.A shouting "i cant do this anymore", so i politely observed that she didnt have a right lot of choice in the matter. That, i was told, wasnt very constructive.
Both were born by C-Section in the end. That was fun.

Always remember the night our 1st was born.Bradford st lukes and as our lass is having her epidural i walk in kitted out in big green wellies a green hat and medical overalls.She is holding a doctors hand thinking its mine and she digs her nails in !!!!
I watched as the kid came into the world with a grin and lol.

With you on that one. Victoria beckham of course wouldnt know the meaning of emergency.

C section and labour - bonus!
I think you've been hard done to there by the midwives. After our first, I was tempted to tell Mr B not to bother next time round - he was exhausted, a bit traumatised (difficult delivery) and not much help, in fact his main contribution was giving me a shock off the TENS machine.

God that brings back memories. Funny how they had your size.

Quite. Joking aside both were pretty frightening experiences but the staff at Hull Maternity are exceptional. (even the ones who shout).

All mine were born at Hedon Road, all my babies got distressed, so surrounded by a team of 6, fantastic teams even 25 yrs ago when I had my first.
