Personally I would play Chev off the bench in the back row, he could do a good job coming on when defences are tiring. |

Maybe with his leg fixed properly he might run harder know he knows his leg won't snap any minute. |

Averages 8.38m per hit up, that's amongst the best in Super League. He also seems to have a good work rate.
I think he'd be a good signing for us, and there should be plenty of beans left in him considering he's only 27 too.

As i said earlier in the thread, he'll be your best prop if the signing comes off and he would be one of the better props in SL too.
I'd take the stats above with a pinch of salt in regards to comparing SL for NRL. Different game and different statisticians etc. |

Clinton is a good prop I was impressed by his Panthers team back 2004ish. Not seen him much for the Broncos due to lack of coverage etc but is a good age for a prop at 27.
Not sure on the salary but is a quality signing.

£152,484 BPS at todays rates. I think it will depend on the length of the contract imo, if its over a three year period as i suspect it will be, then i believe the amount on offer, will work out less than what he is currently earning per annum.
If we are succesful in our attempt to sign him, it will be a major coup for the club as there is no doubting his ability, he is fast for a prop and aggresive too, it would make our pack very formidable indeed and help lay the platform for our relatively young but now more experienced back division.
Lets just hope it comes off.  |
