| Dixon >> Cockayne. However CC will pick his mate.
The rest pick themselves.

| Quote: Broadhurst's Fist "This is how it must be for a narrow Rovers victory...
Cockayne (can't believe Dixon is being considered...gives away far more than he creates majority of the time)
Mantellato
Welham
Salter
Sio
Blair (would much prefer at second row but no other solid option at off half)
Kelly (who are we kidding...he's playing)
Green
Lunt
Puletua
Larroyer
Horne
McCarthy
Boudebza
Walker
Tilse
Allgood
22-20 to us by the way...Kelly, Mantellatox2 and Cockayne the scorers.
The attendance?...78138'"
Cockayne makes as many if not more mistakes than Dixon but is nowhere near the same attacking threat and I would have green and allgood and Donaldson to miss out and there has been over 79,000 tickets sold already

I didn't mention errors...they make approximately the same. Dixon defence is like a vicar's handshake, Cockayne's is decent for his size and Cockayne has more assists through joining the line in attack. Cockayne's overall game is far stronger.

| Personally i would go with cockayne i feel we are going to be doing a fair bit of defending and Ben is a fan of hull kr playing at Wembley in a hull kr shirt the guy will grow 3 feet nobody will be running over him as they do Dixon so my team would be
Cockayne
Sio
Salter
Welham
Mantellato
Blair
Kelly
Walker
Lunt
Puletua
Larroyer
Horne
McCarthy
Donaldson
Allgood
Green
Boudebza

Some of us see different games.
How many times has the bigot been man of the match this year. Dixon has destroyed very good super league teams this year. He drops bombs occasionally. He also wins games...fc away giants wire at home match winning tries against saints and Wigan....the bigot?
Briscoe is terrible under the bomb. Should Leeds drop him.
Dixon had a great game in the semi final.
If Dixon Sio and Kelly play we have real pace. Without two of those we're pedestrian.
The bigot tackles better. Big deal. As plent have said a bonus for a modern day full back.

Problem is if we don't defend well we will get destroyed we can always score plenty of points that's not a worry

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.: |
|
| Adopting an overly conservative game plan won't win us this CC final. Dixon's speed and X-factor a must for me. Le petit Jonnyboy on the bench aussi.

| Dixons defence has improved over the last few games granted he's not going to stop a prop from 2 yards out but then again not many would

Hoping the bigot pulls off 30 try saving tackles wont win it either.
Dixon's kick returns will massively improve our field position each set. He wins lots of penalties.
Most of super league want him in their side. Can't say the same of the bigot. He's had his moments this year but I'm afraid running around like a lunatic doesn't cut it for me. Lost patience with him years ago when we were in front at Cas in their 20. He gave away 3 pens and they scored. He's matured a bit and is a better player for it.
Got the mental age of a three year old now.

| Kelly is playing, according to him. "Yep. Don't want to be sitting on the sidelines for this one, mate", said smiling Albert, sprinting off without a trace of a limp.

| Can't see CC picking this side but Imo it would have a decent chance, though hopefully the team he does pick can pull off a narrow win.
Dixon
Mantellato
Welham
Horne
Sio
Chisholm
Kelly
Walker
Boudebza
Allgood
Blair
Puletua
McCarthy
Green
Tilse
Lunt
Larroyer/Donaldson?
Salter is a trier but he hasn't much go forward. Defensively good but against Moon I'm not sure.
Horne can tackle and can break the line and get Sio away as he did Dixon v Leigh.
Puletua in the second row, which he prefers, would help to take down the likes of Peacock, Luleai, Cutherbertson and Garbutt and slow them down a bit and would give us more go forward out wide with Larroyer/Donaldson spelling him 20 mins at a time. Maybe vulnerable with their quick centres I admit though. Having 5 props will make it interesting at least.
Chisholm hasn't been spectacular but has shown glimpses of what he can do, he has speed and is an out an out half back which Blair isn't who's much better in the 2nd row.
Chisholm could support Kelly so he's not trying to do it all himself, Leeds will target him and try and tire him out and Blair hasn't the pace to step in and be the type of player Kelly is.
Donaldson maybe instead of Larroyer who lifts the team when he comes on, he's our new Cockayne in my eyes, Cockaynes not the player he was but still decent for cover. 19th man for me.
A decent go forward side might get us on the front foot more often than not and give the backs some space and time.
Anyway that's wasted half hour of my time, Chester will no doubt pick Cockayne and Salter. And not Boudebza, Green or Chisholm.

Wouldn't of picked that myself. But, I like that team.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

It's your opinion and you're entitled to it.
But Horne should be nowhere near the centre's unless we really have to do that, he's be murdered for footwork no matter which side he
played on.
Chisholm has done nothing, I'd love to play Blair in the second row but unfortunately he's going to have to play in the halves, even if Kelly doesn't make it, we'd be better going with Marsh.
Has nobody noticed that now we have our props back,Larroyer has been instructed to go back to his initial brief of wide running, looking to pull the oppositions centres in?
