| Seeing as it now seems to be the law that every other ing post has to be a comment on Hull I'd have taken Sneyd every day of the week. Liked him since he scored against us at The Willows two/three(?) years ago, a tonne of potential. Pryce has also always been a quality player and I don't ever remember him ever having a protracted period out of the game due to injury.
I think Hull know what they're getting, we've signed potential IMO, nothing more.

Yeah, a big game bottler. Shouldn't really affect them though.

| I like Sneyd to as a player but he has only had one good season, can he continue that? plus playing under a poor coach won't help his game.

| I for one am really looking forwrd to seein ghow KR go this year, if Cockayne is injured I think a backline of
1. Mantellato
2. Dixon
3. Goulding
4. Blair
5. Sio
6. Campese
7. Kelly
is as dangerous as most in super league, and if they gel for me will be above FC come seasons end

| Just last year (2013) I watched the Knights go out to a 14 - 0 lead over Canberra, then Campese took control of the game and seemed to have us pinned in our own half all game with pin point kicking, and Blake Ferguson took advantage of the field position to force his way over for 3 tries (well, one was a long range effort, but you get the idea).
We lost 44-14 I think.
I've seen Campese do that a hell of a lot over the years, all the way back to when he took the whole comp apart in reserve grade. Canberra set point scoring records when Campo led reserve grade.
Him and Ricky Stuart obviously didn't get on, and 2014 was a lost year for Campo, but the reason he is on a 500k contract is because the guy rules the field when things are working for him.
If a change of club and the fact that he is playing for his football life gets him to have one of his great years, he will really be worth whatever you are paying him.
I can tell you that whenever we are playing Canberra I always think, geez, I hope Campo is off his game today, because we are stuffed if he isn't.
He has had a lot of off games in recent years. Hell, he was off his game all last season, but he has also had some terrible teams around him and the culture at Canberra has been really off.
Ricky Stuart is second only to Brian Smith in his ability to destroy the morale of a playing group, and just getting away from Stuart might be enough to kick start Campese back to his best.
In conclusion. Form is temporary. Class is permanent. Campese has a lot of class when he wants to show it.

| roopy, how's Campese's short kicking game, and could we expect to see a few hoists to the corners for Mantellato to use his height?
No way will Josh be used at full back, it would be a total waste of the guy's best attributes. Dixon, Sio or Cockayne at f/b for me.

Campo has the full range of kicks, and he also has the ability to use the strengths of the players around him. He will give Kelly plenty of chances to run, and Josh plenty of chances to jump.

| You should also know that Campese is 6 foot and 103kg and has been used as a lock forward in the past. He defends as well as a forward because he is built like one.
He won't be a defensive liability. In fact, he'll probably be one of your better defenders.

If he brings all what you are saying to the pitch he will do for us

I'd love to tell you the guy I just described shows up every week, but you don't always know which Campese will get off the bus. Sometimes he can be very disinterested for no obvious reason, and I don't think he goes well injured. Some guys play just as well if injured, but he isn't one of them.

Do you think that Campese and Kellys styles of play will blend well together in the halves Roopy?

I think they will. Kelly can kick well, but he'll probably be happy to leave most of the kicking to Campese and look to run a lot more, which is his strength.
