| Quote: Roofs "Well to me it makes perfect sense: one of the most successful SL coaches of the last 10 years, + a Rovers legend who is trying to make a name for himself in coaching, and is one of the most exciting players we've had the last 20 years. IMO when you add all that together you get a rampaging side with a perfect blend of strength and flair.
Youve got some serious issues boyo...

| Hmm. Does the forming of the new team for next year (Galea staying, Briscoe going, Hodgson coming or at least targeted) mean that Justin is staying? He hardly has the energy or will to raise his eyes in a interview at the moment, never mind make a season-planning decision.
Or is it Hudge ringing the changes from his seat in the dressing room?

I would concern yourself with your own coaching issues if I was you.

Bored sick of worrying about the same old thing. It gets a bit samey after the first two years.
So, has Justin perked up? Or is Hudge now standing at training holding the stopwatch while Morgan sticks his head in the canteen's oven?

| TBF Worm I was wondering that too - would be a bit daft these decisions being made if Morgan wasn't staying. A new coach coming in could be furious at Briscoe leaving for example. All very strange at the moment.

| Barring an absolute slump of a run-in I reckon he'll get another year at least. I've been critical of Morgan this year, but in general he's done a good job here and deserves a chance to turn things around.
The club has had some harsh lessons this year on and off the pitch, be interesting to see if they've learned from them.

Has it occured to anyone that Shaun leaving was maybe his decision?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

If Andrew Webster gets the job that will tell you we are skint and have no ambition, dont talk about wanting to challenge if thats the best we can do for a replacement coach.

Nothing against the bloke but if you promote the assistant who has been with us as we have gone backwards for at least 2 years would be a big mistake after all he must have some input as assistant surely!!!!

FWIW, I don't think he'll leave. If the interview had gone well and it looked like he'd be taking the job, you wouldn't have heard a thing.
Think its another one of those "timely boost" stories, when he "turns down" Cas' offer.
