The club choose the shirt design, don't they? At FC our Retail manager briefs the shirt company on specifics based on customer and player feedback (and stuff like this year the possibility of a retro design) who then come back with a number of options from which to make a final selection. Trolling aside, your home shirt is awful. The only good thing you can say about it is that it raises the possibility of a proper plain Rovers retro style white with red band in 2011.

Seriously, for a third of what Clinton is said to be getting by the local media, you could get someone who knows what they're doing to manage this and the online offer. Just had a browse for my R&W inlaws Xmas presents - Mens polo shirts category header says 8 products, you click it and there are only 2, one of which only has one size. Bizarre allocation of resources when the club is talking about the urgent need to increase revenue.

Do rovers have a marketing dept. or has that one fallen under Hudge's umbrella too?

It's not that bad, just has too much which on and that little white V under the big chunk of white just looks odd. Would've looked a pretty nice shirt if it just had a white hoop surrounding where the sponsor logo is imo

I honestly have no idea Mrs B, don't get involved in that sort of thing. All I was referring to is that all the Kooga Kits this year seem to be absolutely p*ss poor to say the least. I'm just praying for a decent away shirt, or else it will be a couple more polo shirts for me.

to be honest i really dont think its that bad! As people have previously posted, there is only so much you can do with the design in order for people to keep on buying them. Personally I would buy F.C's shirt wether I liked it or not. To me looking good is second to wearing your teams shirt and supporting them. I am sure that many rovers fans will see it the same way

having just searched and explored new shirts from other teams for next seaon then ours is not to bad in the grand scheme of things...

i will create a post in a sec of the shirts i have found, just have to upload them to somewhere first

Whilst I sort of agree with what you're saying, I'll just be re-directing my £40 odd towards different merchandise that I'll enjoy wearing.

It's pretty awful but compared to some of the shirts coming in for next season it could be a lot worse.

Not sure what all the fuss is about, it is a shirt in the team colours and I am sure thousands will be wearing it next season.
