Damned if you do, damned if you dont. We sign to british players and get slated because we where linked with some foreigners, yet we have more Aussies and special dispensations then any other club in the world!!!!!!!!

Personally I think we've done things the right way - good blend of Brits and Aussies, whilst also trying to bring young players through when possible.

Fitzgibbon has been a fantastic player and I'm a big fan of his, but currently he is the captain of a club that is the laughing stock of the NRL. Scratch that, the [iembarrassment [/iof the NRL. I wouldn't say he's "washed up" but he's not the player he was 3-4 years ago. He'll be here for 2 years at most, then Hull have the issue of replacing him when he goes. They may be in need of a quick fix, but we aren't and this year's and last year's signings show that we are looking to the future.

theres a fair bit of truth in that but what these experienced players bring with them helps the younger players to develop and than replace them.(well that should be the plan).

every side brings these players in, gidley at saints, bedsy at leeds, galea at hkr.

we've also signed good young players and are looking to bring more through its just that we need a bigger turn around of players because we've alot of undisiplined drunks.

take your point on the roosters being rubbish this season but it doesn't make much difference IMO. Garret Crossman came from the storm who won the NRL grand final and he was average at best for you last season.
