You couldn't even fill your ground for a CC quarter final. Mind you it was on TV.

I can only assume that you are either a) not old enough to have attended many of the more 'traditional' grounds in NL1 & 2 or b) you haven't been going long enough. The Boulevard was hardly a fantastic view for away fans now was it? Very similar to our south stand - if you remember.
'"
tbf that view is ten times better than any view attainable from the south stand.

I'm not defending it, it is very poor I walk out round that end of the ground every home game and agree. What I'm saying is, that alone would not stop me going and supporting my team. Fair play to those Hull fans who are coming on Saturday, whether they be in the South or the North, they'll be there supporting their team and I hope they enjoy the game as much as they can.
As a Rovers fan I have always said that our away facilities shoule be our priority for improvement, but having been reminded of Leeds' wonderful ground yet their very poor away end on Friday night, perhaps, we, like them, should think of our home support first and extend the East at the South end. The RFL are obviously happy with the developments we have made so far, as we were not of the the recipients of the 'must improve letter'.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| Quote: RoversTrace "When we have been in SL as long as you have then perhaps our facilities will improve. Sadly things can't change overnight, it's just not possible. Wakefield have been in SL from the beginning, promising a new ground for many years with very poor away facilities - do you not go there either for the same reason.
If, in 5 or 6 years time we still haven't made any ground improvements then fair enough, but come on, give us a fair crack of the whip.'"
Sorry Trace I think you are missing the point totally here. To expect Hull fans to pay full whack to stand in a facility which is nothing short of a disgrace is simply not on.
Wakeys ground is poor and I would not take my family to that ground for sure however at least you can see the pitch!!
I will be there on Saturday but not in the South Stand.

Good, well done, you took the sensible option.
If the roles were reversed, I would be in the south stand supporting my team, end of, IF, I couldn't have got a seat for the North Stand. I'd be there for the atmosphere, what I didn't see I'd see on the rerun on Sky later.

Personally I prefer to see the game, the atmosphere is secondary but each to their own I suppose.
Your loyalty is clearly unquestionable, I suppose you paid the 60 quid to become a member of that new club?

| Unfortunately Neil (I'm just a fan) Hudgell has dropped a bollock with the ticket price. If it was a tenner more would have gone. But fans' previous experience of paying way over the odds in return for not being able to see the game and the potential bonus of getting totally drenched has finally come home to roost. Ripping FC fans off in that way in past years has resulted in a loss of revenue this year which it would seem from reports is revenue Hudgell couldn't afford to lose. It's a shame but a bad mistake nonetheless. Home tickets haven't exactly sold out several times either by the looks of it.

No I didn't, as I said above, perhaps my loyalty would be questioned for this, but personally I don't agree with the scheme and at the moment not sure where the money is coming from for next season's passes let alone that. Loyalty will be tested if I can't get a season pass for the East Stand. Someone above posted that they weren't coming because they couldn't afford it, that's fair enough, I don't have a problem at all with that, been in the same position myself in past years, the problem I have is if you can afford it but aren't coming because the view is pants.

Like I say though trace I dont see the point in been in the South Stand 'just to be there' for the game then watch the re run to actually see what happened!!!
Not affording it and Value For Money are both legit reasons in my eyes.

Can't argue with that.
My husband has just walked in the door and told me he's been made redundant

Would you pay to go into a cinema if you knew the film was being shown on a 15" tv?

Our game attracted 11,300 fans. The celtic game attracted 7,600. Using your weird logic 11,300 - 7,600
I have been to every CP derby and always sat in the Golf Stand, it's anot a great view but it's okay. There is no chance I would pay to go in the South stand, in fact I would not go in for free, I would rather watch it on Sky. That said I am not going as I am going on holiday.
I don't see how either set of fans can gloat, both teams get great support home and away and we are foten envied by other clubs in SL.
