I know what you mean, and maybe we use it as a shorthand for a lack of power/aggression/go forward/ability to win collisions.

Mulhern is pretty lean, Garbutt misses a biggish proportion of games, Maher is a bit of a project.

With the terrible injury to Mose Masoe, if Garbutt doesn’t make the squad, it is among our bigger problems still.

We don’t have Addy, Cator and Donaldson together in the squad anymore, as we did in 2017, admittedly.

go back to your relegation year in 2016, ok you got few over paid, injury prone players off your books, mix that in with the stupid 888 system recruiting quality was always going to be a problem as you never knew which league you would end in whilst all the SL teams in the top 8 were already securing the better players on offer, imo thats where it all went wrong for rovers
