30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Losing the Cox of last year doesn't concern me, I agree that our pack looks lightweight still but I really think Cox would only have been a bit part player had he stayed,
Probably fair to say it's a good move for both Cox and Warrington, fresh environment might be what he needs to crack on.

On the evidence of the last 2 years he is no great loss to the team.
Has all the physical attributes to be a great player with the exception of brain, heart and spleen.
He will be a revelation at the Wire, but the jury's out on what kind.

Makes yards with the ball and hard to stop due to his size and pace........however breathing like he's done a marathon after 5 minutes. His slide defence is eccentric to grossly inefficient oh and his ball handling in the wet is crap.
His bravery isn't in doubt. Nearly died 2 years ago rupturing his spleen and only emergency surgery saved him. Back playing as soon as he was fit.
His intellectual ability.......Makes Chris Hill look like Stephen Hawking.
Only a brain and lung transplant may save his career.
Good luck to him and wire. You lot have far more grace than your neighbours the pies and saints.

| I remember watching him play in an U19 game against Salford at the Willows, prob around 2010. We were winning by a fair few and Salford came back and went in front. Cox rallied the team, got hold of the ball and practically won the game on his own. I thought then he looked the part and had the potential to be a Phil Lowe type 2nd rower.
Since then he has had his moments, but they have been brief and listening to people of his age group who know him reckon he started to think he was Billy Bigtime as soon as he signed a full time deal.
I still think he could kick on and make it, it all depends on how much he wants it and is prepared to work for it.

| It's a shame.
He's got talent, I have no idea how much the spleen affects him but he definitely needed a change of club, it just wasn't working for him at Rovers.
A change of coaching and getting under the wing of Tony Smith and his terrible beige and brown suits will hopefully lead to him having a successful career.
I wish him well, but he is as thick as pig, and having been, for a time, a pig farmer, i am knowledgeable in that department.

Goose, that's Priceless. A lot of blokes would claim to be knowledgeable about sex, music, sport, politics or say current affairs, but as an Avian you declare one of your many skill sets to be an encyclopaedic knowledge of the thickness of pig.
Purely out of scientific interest therefore and to enable us to benchmark the paucity of Cox's intellectual capacity, please can you give the forum your expert opinion on the relative density comparison between pig, bull and goosecrap?

| Wire have signed Ryan Bailey this week to provide further competition to the other props and therefore Coxy.
If Cox hasn't grown up by now on his own admission, a few months of lift sharing and bench warming with that horrible and unreliable turd should shape his persona once and for all.
The reaction to the Bailey signing is already 13 pages strong on Wire's forum as I write. I could understand if Bailey had signed for Leigh, but what on earth are Warrington playing at?

| Is Bailey one of them who you cant stand the sight of but when he signs for your club you warm to him a little and maybe like him eventually or is that statement wide of the mark ?
