| Well after feeling very deflated last night and most of today I will try and be positive!
Our pack was competitive in the first 40 but then visibly tired in the second half(maybe undercooked).
I thought when Costigan went off with concussion we lost a bit of aggression, he looks an excellent defender. Langley and Larroyer were steady and are clearly workhorses although I can see the Frenchmen scoring a few tries if our halves can create anything.
Green keeps his place and looks more than useful with a good offload. The Walker brothers and the two big aussies definitely need more gametime as they all looked rusty.
Josh worked manfully as ever but Leeds did a great job on him and maybe 80 mins is just too much? ? Kris Keating did ok on his debut and will be fine once he settes in!
Now the negatives, how on earth Liam Salter doesn't get a place in those threequarters is beyond me ? he had a blinder at Headingley a few months ago and is our best defensive centre by a million miles.
1 to 6 need to improve massively and quickly because its an area were we are not overly strong!
Its not time to panic as its only 1 game but the same old habits haven't been eradicated.
I just hope personally Lovegrove and Cox come into the 19 next week.
Roll on Huddersfield Sunday.

So we sign a French international 2nd rower and 1 game in chuck him into a different position? You are Claudio Ranieri, I claim my 5,000,000 lira.

| He will score a lot of tries this season with a good centre next to him who actually passes to him think he will outshine Ryan Hall

| What's happened to Lovegrove? He's often been one fo yuor most consistent performers. Or is it a case of Sandercock bringing in a lot of forwards and feels he needs to give them a first choice position?

ironically he's apparently down the pecking order because of his defence. been replaced by some top tackling forwards

not often. In all seriousness,he's a great player. His ability to plough on another 5 or so meters with 2 or 3 tacklers on him is unbelievable for his size.Personaly, don't think you can get much better wingers than Ryan Hall and Briscoe.Thats why Leeds will be THE team this year.

You could see his heart and his head didn't turn up last season, for whatever reason. Think he will shine again this year but as some have mentioned, probably won't score an easier hatrick as he did on Sunday.

| Move hall to the wing and get lovegrove back in the centres, for me he always plays well in the centres and IMO its the only position he will get a spot at the moment.Welham should be dropped and salter in his place.

Who would be your choice in the centres on Sunday given we will be up against Cudjoe, Wardle etc..

Inglis & Meninga!
Or
Salter & Horne.
Hall on wing in place of the injured Hodgson. Welham to Gateshead for a month. I don't think Lovegrove has the footwork to play centre any more. Horne doesn't play that well at centre but he has at least played there. Has Larroyer ever played centre? I'm not filled with confidence at our centre options, even Gleeson, when fit doesn't look great.
Having said all that, Sandercock will undoubtedly pick Welham. Cudjoe will be grinning in the dressing room when he sees the team sheet.

Far better than hall IMO. He's tge best Bristish winger we currently have but has been playing in an average team outside a centre who can;t pass for the last 6 years

Agree, deceptively hard to stop and will show his full potential playing alongside centres who can pass.

90 try's in 147 games , he must have had a few passes off his centre but you've watched hull every week so you'll probably know more than me . Fwiw you'd love to have had Yeamo in your team would you not des ?

| I couldn't be certain regards Larroyer playing centre Stan but I believe I read it somewhere?
I don't think sending Kris out to Gateshead would be the answer either, just maybe needs to come out of the firing line for a bit ?
I for one hope if selected Sunday he has a blinder and solves our debate.
