I often wondered what the point of Sarah Smith was when you take into account that we have a Football Director in Phil Lowe who has in the past served as Football Manager for the Great Britain team. That said, it is always sad when somebody loses their job.
I think that in terms of recruitment, Rovers are currently at the stage where in order to bring people in on salary they first have to lose somebody. It is going to be an expensive year in 2012 and the club will have to run a tight ship and prioritise.

Poor economy, higher fuel costs and the 'honeymoon' period of our loans will be entering their payment start dates, maybe?
