| matt cook isnt a bad player. hes a good hard runner and am sure rovers fans will come to love him if he plays like he did at bulls although he does tend to come up with silly plays and give a few penaltys away though but if he cuts them out of his game he is a good player

A blow about Brisc but a chance for Ben as he certainly isn't a centre. Hopefully Ratu back next week. Cookey didn't do a great deal tonight so I'Anson could certainly do no worse IMO. Hopefully Cookey scan just a precaution. Ah well it's only Hudds next week

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Believe me, you were never getting on top at all, and i'm as unbiased as you can get.... It must have looked different on the TV.... The difference in pack size was the biggest difference, but a round of applause to Vella, tried his heart out.

| I know this thread is about Matt Cook so I'm obviously digressing here, but does anyone else think that Welham has actually lost weight/ bulk this year? Vs Salford I couldn't believe how weak he looked, and I know he's always been skinny, but he's appears even more lightweight it that's possible. Even Charlie looks like he's thinned a bit - we must have the lightest squad in SL
We're going to get mullered this season IMO

Not really. Wigan were slicker and have hit the ground running this year.

I agree, there seems to be some serious knee jerking going on. Both on here and your 'secret' forum. It's 1 game against a decent team away from home. Nice home game next week and everything in the garden will be rosy again.

| I do get fed up of threads like this that slag players off. Last night was just one of them nights where nothing went right at all. So Id prefer it if people get off Matt Cook's and Kris Welham's back. Thought the whole team was pretty poor but thought Vella, Fisher and Newton made a difference in their efforts to ge us in the ame. We don't to be like the dullers when they always pick on certain players who they feel are at fault when it is not the case at all i.e Graeme Horne, Tommy Lee. Was wondering earlier how someone like Graeme is deemed not good enough for a team that finished twelfth last season but be a first choice second row at Huddersfield where there are some talented back rowers such as Gilmour and Faalogo.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

You would be best asking Nathan Brown that question but do you think that if both Stephen Wild and Simon Finnegan were fit Graeme would be first choice?
I guess he is the kind of player with utility value that the Giants were looking to add to their squad.

| Cook had a poor game but that's all it was 1 poor game. Let's get off the lads back and see how he goes over a number of games before we decide he's this years scape goat.
